A Felting Adventure with Keith Leonard

Join Keith for a creative felting adventure where colorful yarn transforms into something truly special!

Throughout this four-class series, we’ll explore the wonderful world of fiber and felting in a fun, hands-on learning experience. We’ll meet Thursday evenings throughout February on Zoom for four knit-along-style classes, with Keith guiding you every step of the way!

We’ll kick things off by creating colorful FELTED COASTERS, learning the techniques of both machine felting and hand felting along the way. Then, we’ll put those new skills to work as we create the main event: an adorable, one-of-a-kind FELTED BACKPACK that’s sure to become your new favorite knitting bag!

These projects include many learning techniques that will be clearly explained and demonstrated by Keith! These techniques include how to: follow this specific pattern, create an applied icord, pick up stitches behind an icord, create a head to tail join, and how to felt and shape your project.

Your Event Registration Includes:

• Ten Skeins of yarn for your projects (2 skeins of Noro Kureyon and 8 skeins of Yarn Snob FELT an INCREDIBLY soft 19.5 micron NON superwash Merino that felts like a dream)
• Patterns for both projects - If you don't like the backpack, other Felted Bag patterns will be suggested
